VISION STATEMENT
Our Vision . . .
St. Augustine of Canterbury will actively encourage creative ideas and visionary thinking for the parish’s development as a spiritual beacon for Christians throughout the Omaha metropolitan area. To accomplish this vision and support our mission, we will:
• Grow by incorporating new parishioners while retaining established members;
• Be faithful by encouraging and supporting a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ for all ages through
vibrant programs;
• Encourage inclusivity by welcoming people of all ages, ethnicity, orientation, and marital status;
• Be caring by retaining the sense of a “family church”, and continuing the strong involvement of laity in all
ministries within the parish and in the community at large;
• Pursue new programs that meet the needs of the congregation and surrounding community as our
membership increases;
• Continue to evaluate and plan for the potential expansion of our building and grounds as the needs of the
parish change
